Help, my login is not recognised!

In the vast majority of cases the username/login to access University of Cumbria (UoC) systems and resources is in one of two forms:
- sstudent_number@uni.cumbria.ac.uk (where student_number is your student number, for example 3400789)
- firstname.surname@cumbria.ac.uk (staff only)
If in your browser session you have already logged into something using a login other than your UoC login then clicking a link that provides single sign on (invisible login) will result in a unrecognised login error.
In these circumstances you should:
- open a private (Firefox), incognito (Chrome) or InPrivate (Edge Chromium) browser window and navigate to the target site again without logging into any other site using a non-UoC login
- Or, simply open a different browser (Chrome, Firefox & Edge Chromium are recommended) and navigate to the target site again without logging into any other site using a non-UoC login
